Google + UN + Tribeca Film Festival :: Inertia City

A short feature film depicting what would happen if one day the entire city stopped completely.

This piece won Bronze Lions at Cannes for Film, Film Craft and rated highly in many other advertising & film festivals around the globe.

Inertia City is a cinematic sequence rooted in data and designed to bring attention to the far-reaching impact of traffic in São Paulo. The sequence begins in an imagined 45-day traffic jam that shuts down São Paulo, and follows its impact on an individual family and society at large. If you skip the story, you'll see straightforward facts about the impact of traffic and pollution in São Paulo. One can easily find the 17 min feature film on YouTube or Vimeo.
